TED Ageing Better in East Lindsey works to combat isolation and loneliness in the over 50s in East Lindsey. In response to the Coronavirus outbreak we launched ConnecTED Together to offer regular well-being and friendship calls, advice and information and activity packs to support those in need and their families across the whole of Lincolnshire.
In addition to this support we are launching Operation Pen Pal.
We are asking for short stories, letters and/or drawings from children across the county to be sent in to us so that we can forward them on to a vulnerable older person, to make their day just that bit brighter!
If you would like to be involved please send in a drawing or a short story or a letter about the kinds of things that you have been doing at home during the lockdown, such as baking, school work, exercise, arts and crafts, reading, games and much more besides! Please feel free to send in more than one and to use your imagination!
If you can help we would love to hear from you! Send your letters, stories and/or drawings by post to TED in East Lindsey, The Old Mart, Church Lane, Sleaford, NG34 7DF or email them to us at email@example.com
Tell us your child’s first name and leave your contact details so we can feedback to you on the kinds of responses we received when the person concerned was presented with their envelope! Your contact details will remain confidential and won’t be shared with our recipients.
We hope you can help and we’d love to hear from you!
