Market Rasen Town Cricket and Football Club host a number of teams from both sports at both junior and senior level. A club house accommodates the teams and visitors and provides recreational activities such as darts, pool, snooker and bridge. There are 250 members of the club.

A grant application was successful to support the  upgrading and refurbishment of the kitchen to enable the club to offer full catering facilities to members, visitors and party bookings. New appliances, kitchen units and worktops were purchased that were suitably compliant with Health and Safety and Environmental legislation.

Project benefits

The completion of this project has benefited both the Club and the Community involved.

“We can now offer food on a daily basis as well as providing catering for  external    functions.  All our sporting teams are now catered for with the club providing after match food.  The supporters and visitors can also enjoy a range of meals as the Club is open most days”.  Alison West Club Treasurer.

This has led to an increased turnover and surplus income which can be used to continue to improve the clubs facilities
