Community Lincs is a charity working throughout Lincolnshire to make a positive difference to the lives of individuals and communities in the region. Talk, Eat and Drink (T.E.D.) in East Lindsey is a Big Lottery funded project through the Ageing Better Programme. It is an ambitious project aimed at addressing social isolation and loneliness of people over 50, within rurally isolated communities across East Lindsey. We have an exciting opportunity for a community-focussed professional with excellent people skills, to join the team as it moves into its final phase of delivery and legacy planning.

The T.E.D. Friendship Officer will be responsible for co-ordinating and facilitating Friendship activities across the T.E.D. Programme, working with the T.E.D. team and commissioned partners in order to expand socialisation options and increase the number of connections available to older people in East Lindsey. This will include the development of a business plan for the ‘Teas with T.E.D.’ brand which results in a ‘lift and shift’ model that is both scaleable and sustainable.

The role requires an experienced professional with knowledge and track record of project delivery within a community context, as well as providing training and support to volunteers. We require a team-player, an excellent communicator and a real people person for this role.
