Making Connections
Lincolnshire is a vast rural county dotted with small villages and hamlets. The public transport system is patchy and the road infrastructure is poor, meaning that many people are isolated and find it difficult or expensive to get to work or college, or simply to have a social life.
Through projects such as the Good Neighbours’ Scheme, Talk Eat and Drink in East Lindsey and the Women in Enterprise Day Community Lincs tries to address issues of isolation and access and helps to bring people together to share experience and friendships.
Volunteering
Community Lincs is keen to support volunteering. We provide volunteering opportunities to give people workplace experience and to help in the delivery of our projects. We also encourage our staff to volunteer on a regular or one off basis and provide paid time for them to do so. To find out about our current volunteering opportunities, read on or visit our jobs page.
