A rare opportunity has arisen for two post-holders to join a vibrant, person-centred
charity with a 90 year history of serving communities across Lincolnshire. Community
Lincs is described by its staff as being an innovative and rewarding place to work
and you would be joining us during an exciting phase of our development as we
create new opportunities for supporting individuals, families and communities across
the county.

Our Talk, Eat and Drink project in East Lindsey is already having a major, positive
impact on the lives of older people in the region. The T.E.D. project team work with
local partners to address issues of social isolation in the over 50 population, thanks to
a successful grant application through the Big Lottery, as part of their national
Ageing Better Programme. We are looking for two post-holders to help us to take the
project through to the next stage of its development and delivery.

Post 1 – T.E.D. Project Manager – Ref No: AT/TEDPM2018

with regular travel around East Lindsey

You will be an experienced manager of projects, a real people person with the
ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences. You will have
experience of managing and leading staff as well as drive and commitment and a
deep understanding of the issues affecting the lives of older people. You will be
outcomes-focussed, and ideally have experience of achieving results through
delivery of a large-scale funded project across a wide geographical area. You and
your team will need to work effectively to achieve the best possible outcomes for
older people in East Lindsey.

You will also be responsible for liaising with the Big Lottery Officers and other national
partners, providing regular, evidence-based reports on progress and outcomes and
developing key local relationships.

This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Post 2 – T.E.D. Co-ordinator – Age Friendly Business – Ref No: AT/TEDCO2018

within communities and engaging volunteers. You will have the necessary drive,
enthusiasm and creativity to delivery on our Age-Friendly Business Award strategy
across East Lindsey. We require a team-player and an excellent communicator for
this role and someone who is confident and able to understand and articulate the
particular needs of people over 50, particularly in relation to the value older people
can bring to a community business context.

This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
