Community Lincs works with the public, voluntary, academic and private sectors in areas of research that cover a wide range of rural and social issues such as community need, housing, health, aging and many other local priorities
Our research team delivers a full range of research services including personal interviews, postal and online surveys, community panels and focus groups to provide organisations with the information they need for future decision making, influencing policy or submission of funding applications.
Examples Of Our Work
Ageing Better in East Lindsey – identifying the support needs of isolated older people in East Lindsey included a survey with a response rate of 1000 together with 100 community based interviews. – Undertaken as part of a Big Lottery tendering process.
Hemswell Cliff Living Environment Survey – an online and offline survey to all households in Hemswell Cliff establishing the need for local authority service support to help WLDC plan for future service need. – Undertaken on behalf of WLDC.
Future Housing and Support Needs of Elderly People Living in a Rural Park Home Facility – Health, housing and care requirements were assessed with 500+ park home residents using a mix of interviews, focus groups and paper based surveys. Undertaken on behalf of WLDC.
Food Surplus Study – Exploratory study and development of business model for a community-led surplus food redistribution programme across Lincolnshire. Undertaken in partnership with University of Lincoln and Lincolnshire County Council.
